Octant Energy is pleased to offer a position in its exciting Lamu Basin Block L17/L18, located offshore southern Kenya. The block is interpreted to include mature and effective oil-prone source rocks with reservoir development at multiple levels. A recently reprocessed (PSTM) 1,000sqkm 3D seismic data covers the core area with stacks and gathers available. An interpretation & prospectivity report has been recently completed, identifying a variety of plays and trapping geometries, including giant prospects and follow-on potential with multi-billion barrel potential. Octant is seeking a Joint Venture Partner to earn a material percentage of its 100% working interest in return for a commitment to fund one or more exploration wells prior to the end of the current term. Operatorship is available to suitably qualified parties. Octant's 100% working interest allows for flexibility in discussing a range of deal terms. Access to data relating to this opportunity can be made available following execution of a Confidentiality Agreement.
